eBooks extend the library's colllection of books in print. Some eBooks sites are only available to members of the Southwestern Adventist University community with their SWAU portal account.

NetLibrary lets you access your library's eContent collection. You currently have access to over 28,000 ebooks from NetLibrary.

Credo Reference combines publishing expertise with the latest digital technologies to unlock the knowledge value of reference material. There are over 380 titles consisting of an aggregate of 3.1 million entries all interconnected by millions of links.

Digital Book Index is a searchable index of 100,000+ e-books, many of which may be downloaded free of charge. Registration and Log-in required.

Google Book Search allows you to search for books the way you would search for websites. Out of copyright books are made freely available and those that require a fee can be located at a nearby library by clicking 'library search'.

Gutenberg e-books are created by volunteers. Over 27,000 free ebooks can be found in Project Gutenberg's catalog, including classics such as The Iliad & The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

HathiTrust Digital Library. Similar to Google Books, this application provides access to the digital repository of library books scanned by Google.

International Children's Digital Library provides access to children's books from around the world in a variety of languages. The ICDL Foundation's goal is to build a collection of books that represents outstanding historical and contemporary books from throughout the world. Ultimately, the Foundation aspires to have every culture and language represented so that every child can know and appreciate the riches of children's literature from the world community.

LibriVox (Audio Books) volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain and release the audio files back onto the net. Their goal is to make all public domain books available as free audio books.

The Online Books Page is provided by the University of Pennsylvania listing over 35,000 free books from different sources on the Web.

Open Library has gathered about 30 million records (20 million are available through the site now), and more are on the way. You can search millions of book records, narrow results by facet, and search across the full text of 1 million scanned books. Their goal is to create one web page for every book ever published.

The Universal Digital Library's primary long-term objective is to capture all books in digital format. A first step was to demonstrate the feasibility by undertaking to digitize 1 million books (less than 1% of all books in all languages ever published). This was achieved in the 2006 - 2007 time frame. They continue to digitize books at 50 scanning centers all over the globe to achieve the long term objective.
