What we can do for you
- Orientation to library resources
When
you first arrive on campus, you'll have an hour with the library staff
to learn of the types of resources and services we provide. Consider
this the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with the library.
- Reference assistance
Feel
free to contact our library reference staff in person, by phone, or by
e-mail. The Library's main phone number is: 817-202-6242. Submit
questions to our Reference Librarian on how to conduct research and where to locate sources if you desire more help.
- Books
You
may check out books and media. If you live out of the local area, we
will mail books from our main collection to you. Please phone
(817-202-6242) or e-mail the Reference Librarian your requests for these
resources. Journal articles can be scanned and sent to your e-mail
account.
- We will seek to create formal, borrowing
agreements with academic libraries close to your home if you live
outside the TexShare boundaries.
