Group Study Seminar Rooms
Approved by SWAU's Library Advisory Committee, August 2, 2006Enclosed group study and seminar rooms are located on the second and third floors of the library. Second floor rooms (6) have a 6-person capacity and third floor rooms (3) have a 12-person capacity. All rooms provide ethernet cable Internet access as well as wireless access. Third floor rooms also contain white boards for problem solving. Study room usage is available on a first come, first served basis. However, study rooms, especially the larger, 3rd floor rooms may be reserved for seminars and other special purposes. These would include, but are not limited to:
- Departmental tutors
- Special classes organized by students
- Visiting recruiters
- SWAU staff and faculty
Note that reservations for seminar and group student rooms are posted by each door.
A library supervisor or the Library Director will assist in scheduling these rooms.
