Since I love teaching, I have read and reread this title for pleasure. I was given this self-help book, now on a 13th edition, as a beginning teaching assistant in 1997 so it should not be unexpected that parts of it are very dated—the predictions on usage of technology in the classroom are very entertaining. Nevertheless, other parts of this book are still very appropriate. In particular, the discussions on student diversity, ethical teaching, and continuous improvement of teaching are especially helpful.
